My Sister's Wedding

My sister Cristina got married August 20, 2011. At first I was going to be the ring bearer. Then later on I had to do other special things in the wedding so then I got to become a groomsman. (By the way a groomsman is a special person who gets picked by the groom. There are also bridesmaids which are chosen by the bride.)
So I had to rent my tux, buy new shoes, buy a new tie, new socks, everything. After all that it leads to the wedding morning. Almost all of the bridesmaids came over to sleep at my family’s house. Cristina slept in her old bedroom. So trust me it was crazy with the only guys there being my dad, my dog, and me. We all had to wake up at 5:30 A.M. and there were ladies who came over to our house to do all the bridesmaids hair and my mom’s hair. But luckily my dad and I didn’t have to get our hair done so my dad and I just stayed in bed for a while. But later on we had to get dressed so we could leave. So once we got dressed, we left to go to the church. Also Cristina didn’t want everybody to see her wearing wedding dress so she left with her maid of honor. So the ceremony started and I had to go with my mom down to the front of the church and light a unity candle. Then the wedding officially started. And trust me it felt like forever so I’ll just skip to the part where the priest says “you may now kiss”. So then Cristina kissed her fiancé Justin and they officially became married. Justin became Cristina’s husband and Cristina became Justin’s wife.
Then the fun part happens at the reception. The reception is where everybody goes to a place and has food and talks, and there’s a dance party. The dance party was so awesome. My cousin Marcos and my two cousins from Texas Jordan and Dylan were there. So at first my cousins and I were trying to not have to dance. But my mom got Jordan on the dance floor, and then he liked it and kept dancing; so it was just Dylan, Marcos and me. They almost got Dylan when he was hiding under the table, but he got away. But I finally stepped up and starting dancing. I got Marcos to dance and we tried to get Dylan, but he just ran away from us. That dance party was so awesome! Also everybody was dancing like they were crazy and the food was so delicious. Finally everybody then had to leave so we all went home and I was so tired. All that dancing and all that standing drained me of all my energy. I just took a shower right when I got home and stayed in bed for what seemed like forever. While in bed I kept saying “I can’t believe my sister just got married”.
That day was one of my favorites and I will always remember it. I still can’t believe my sister got married; but anyways, I have two more sisters that are older than me so I have more weddings to look forward to!

The quarterback Michael Vick

Michael Vick was a quarterback for the Falcons in 2005. He also had a 130 million dollar contract. In 2007 he went to jail for having illegal dog fights. He got out of jail in 2009. He then got a million dollar cotract to play for the Philadelphia Eagles and be the starter quarterback. Michael Vick is now the 20th best football player in 2011.The best player is a quarterback it is Tom Brady. Tom Brady is my fantasy football pick also and Michael Vick is my fantasy football back up quarterback. What I don't think makes sense is if Michael Vick is such a great QB then why did he do something that made him go to jail? My favorite four QB's are Michael Vick, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning. Also Peyton Manning is the 2nd best player for 2011 and Drew Brees is the 9th best player for 2011. Tom Brady plays for the New England Patriots.Drew Brees plays for the New Orleans Saints.Peyton Manning is for the Indianapolis Colts. Also when it was the super bowl with the Saints playing against the Colts I went for the Saints. The Saints won that super bowl.

My Dream House

My Dream House is so cool, because it practically has everything you would want for at least a boy though.

It would be at Redington Beach, Florida. The people I would invite over would be, ofcourse, Marcos and Ian, since we are right door to each other, and all my friends, but not all on the same day because it would create a big ruckus.  And I do not want my house to get dirty!

I would invite my sisters because they are my sisters. Their friends can come over too. 

Mom and Dad, my family, can come too. 

When I wake up the first thing I do, is go to the kitchen and have breakfast. Second, I would go through the underground tunnel to Marco’s house and bring him over to my house.

Then…….

3.       We would go to the trampoline room.

4.        We would definitely have to go on the soccer field

5.       Next is the arcade

6.       Then the bowling alley

7.       We would both go to the secret tunnel to Ian’s house. 

8.       We would all come back over to my house and go to the batting cage 

9.       Then we would go to the laser tag room

10.   Next the movie theatre room and watch a movie, any movie that Ian or Marcos would want to watch

11.   Then we would go to the baseball field and play a little baseball

12.   Then we would go to the Ice rink and play hockey

13.   Then we would take a break in the pool!

14.    Then we would go to the basketball court room

15.   When we are hungry we will go to the super restaurant and have something to eat. I would have waiters there who would take our order and I would give them money. 

16.   Then, we would go toss the ball around on the football field.

17.   Then we would go to the toy room and play with nerf guns and stuff.

18.   Then we would the tennis court

19.   Then we would go to our backyards and to the beach. 

20.   Then we would all go back to the movie theater room and watch a midnight movie.

21.    I would see if they both want to sleep over in my room, because I have a bunk bed and an extra mattress.

The next morning we will wake up and we will all go to Busch Gardens. Some days we will take a break, but only when I take a break from my job, being a baseball player or a hockey player, I can’t decide yet.

C is for caring.

C is for caring; R is runner; I is for intelligent; S is for super; T is for teacher; another I is for instructor; N is for nice; A is for amusing.  That spells Cristina, who is the oldest of the sisters. She has her own apartment and lives in the same community that Caren lives in. I like to go to her apartment because she has games that I play, like hockey games, and football games. She works at a school and she helps teach the kids with special needs, like kids who have trouble learning.  I think it’s called dyslexia for some, other kids have other challenges. She is a good teacher because she is nice and gentle, and easy to work with.  She has a fiancé named Justin, this means they are going to get married very soon.  I am going to be the ring bearer.  I don’t really know what I am supposed to do though.

C is for Cool

C is for cool; A is for awesome; R is for radical; E is for excellent; N is for nuclear bomb, as in she is the bomb!  This spells CAREN my other sister. She lets me play on her Xbox 360. She also takes me to the movies and takes me to restaurants, mostly McDonalds. She doesn’t play outside with me; well she doesn’t live at my family’s house anymore. But she did take me to a baseball field that people could go to. She, Jean, and I played baseball that day.  Jean is her boyfriend. He is cool too.  Now that she doesn’t live at home, I sleep in her room; that makes sense! Because her room is cool!!!  She works at a lawyer’s office and is finishing college. One day she may be a judge and have her own show called “Judge Caren”! She would be good, because she is good at breaking rules. Just kidding, but one time she did want to be a cop.

Catie

When I think of my sister Catie I think of how super, super nice she is. She plays a bunch of board games with me. She is just as funny as my dad. Also she baby-sits and works at a school after care. She likes working where there are little kids. Also, my cousin Marcos goes to that school and after care.  He is ten. I love it when she takes me to movies. She used to play outside with me when I was younger. We both LOVE to watch hockey. We go for the awesome LIGHTNING! But she doesn’t like football-that doesn’t make sense!! She makes Mac and Cheese for me.   mmmmmmmmmm!!!!

ME AND MY FAMILY

My mom is very nice to me.  She makes my food for school, she lets me have a dog, and she makes me feel independent. My mom’s name is Carmen. She sometimes plays outside with me; she usually doesn’t though, because she works late.  I wish she didn’t work late. She also is funny too. She also loves to play board games with me. Especially Connect Four.  She even brings me to stores to buy toys.   

My dad is also really nice to me. He plays outside with me a lot, but he works later than my mom and starts before my mom. He makes me pizza a bunch of times for dinner. He also brings me to my little league soccer games. His name is Felix. He works at Home Depot. My dad also painted my room .Of course he got the paint from Home Depot. He also likes to play board games with me. He mostly likes to play Rummy.  He is hilarious he makes stuff really funny. One time I was a store and I told him "Dad I’m thirsty". Then he told me,  "glad to meet you thirsty". I giggled a lot when he told me that. My dad and I love to watch baseball together we go for the RAYS! 
It makes sense that they are nice to me because, after all, they ARE my parents!

My thoughts about my neighborhood

MY NEIGHBORHOOD    2/21/11

As I go around our neighborhood I think about some things. Here is what I thought the other day. The new library takes up way too much space. The playground is tiny, how could that be fun with only two slides? The old library used to not take up a lot of room.  Also the playground had many slides, a sliding pole too.  Next to the old playground was a basketball court. Now that was a cool library, I wonder why they changed it. Everybody and I mean everybody loved that library. The people who changed it didn’t think of the people that have memories with that old library. 

The ice cream place on the corner should be an igloo, instead of a cone. That would make a whole lot of more sense. The people who built the ice cream place didn’t do much thinking at all. An igloo would much more sense than a cone because ice cream in a bigger ice cream how does that make sense? Ice cream in an igloo makes sense because you always see igloos with ice in it right. Also you need ice to make ICE cream. Also if it was an igloo they could put a cardboard Eskimo next to the igloo. That would be awesome!

I have such a strange neighborhood. I wonder if other people think it is weird too. I would love to change crazy stuff in my crazy neighborhood.

First thoughts

I wonder about things alot.  My mom and I talk in the car and we laugh when we see things that don't make sense.  My mom thought I should write about those things.  First let me tell you about me. I am almost 10 years old and I like to write. I didn't like to write very much, until this year because I have a teacher who has forced to work on my writing skills.  My mom will also be contributing to this blog. Her name is Carmen.
